Arrivals at Amsterdam International Airport Schiphol


Departures so as arrivals take place in the same terminals of AMS. However, the arrivals take place on the Ground Level, where the one may not only get on board of the plane, but also find information desks, cafes, bars, supermarket, lockers service, and even hairdressers.

The airport hosts arrivals from around 301 provided by at least 100 different airlines. All 3 terminals serve arrivals, however, the number of the terminal hosting the flight depends on the airline providing the flight.

For instance, all flights operated by the China Airlines are coming through the Terminal/Hall 3, the ones served by the KLM are coming at the Terminals/Halls 2 and 3, Austrian Airlines flights are coming through the Terminal/Hall 1 etc.

The Arrivals area differentiates by Schengen and non- Schengen flights. The passenger arriving on the Schengen flight may walk straight through, however, the ones arriving on the non-Schengen flights might go through the passport control first. However, those arriving from EU having the chip in their passports may use the self-service passport control and not waste time in the queues.

After going through all appropriate activities, the one may enter the baggage claim area where the luggage will be delivered.

The next area is the Schiphol Plaza, where the one might find museums, shops, restaurants, and entrance to the railway station.

Moreover, after a long flight, the one might find it easier to stay and rest in the airport hotels YOTELAIR, Hilton Hotel, Mercure Hotel, CitizenM Hotel etc. Those hotels will do everything to satisfy passengers’ needs and desires and provide them with the best service possible.

After the Arrivals are passengers may reach various parking and banking facilities, car rental offices, bus or railway station.

The one may find the banking and medical services, the meeting and baby care rooms, the smoking area, VIP lounges and showers.
